2003
Origins
Born in this year with a plan to focus on condition monitoring with primarily Vibration, measurment, analysis and diagnosis domain. iAdept had its share of humble origins with minimalistic team and basic infrastructure. Starting from a something that looked like a back-office operation, iAdept has moved up the reputation ladder as a significant contender within Condition Monitoring Test, Measurement and related Data Collection equipment.
2004
First DAQ at AMU
iAdept's journey began with its first Vibrations Data Acquisition System sold to a research team at Aligarh Muslim University. Since that milestone, we've delivered a wide range of customized solution to IITs/NITs Leading Universities and Research Institutions across India, supporting innovation, education, and advanced industrial research.
2005
First Stroboscope to Steel Authority of India Ltd
In 2005, iAdept added stroboscopes to its product portfolio and, within the same year, secured its first order from Steel Authority of India Ltd and Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd. (RINL). Winning an order for a product that had been on the market for only a few months served as a major morale booster for the team. iAdept has now become the preferred distributor for this OEM.
Committed to staying ahead of the technology curve, iAdept has consistently introduced best-in-class technology products over time.
2006
iAdept: World Bank-Authorized Vendor Tag for Noise & Vibration Impact Assessments in EIA Projects
iAdept was selected for a World Bank-sponsored environmental impact analysis for the Dedicated Freight Corridor. The company was responsible for measuring vibration and noise impact across the existing rail network, as well as at greenfield locations for predicting the potential impact of the new corridor being developed in the region.
This was among the first major railway-related ETA projects in the country that iAdept secured for analysis and survey work early in its journey, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth.
Diesel Engine Analysis Division Launch – 2006
In 2006, iAdept launched a dedicated division for devices used in diesel engine performance analysis. The revolutionary product offered under this division has remained virtually unmatched in the market, for almost 3 decades. Multiple units have been sold, operated, and successfully upgraded over years of marine deployment—among many other achievements.
Diesel engine analysis continues to gain traction, particularly in marine applications for fault diagnosis of diesel-powered vessels, as well as in extensive use on backup DG sets.
2007
iAdept brings Eye Movement Recorder to India
With multiple installations across diverse fields such as Physiology, Research, and Ergonomics during this year, eye movement recorders became a valuable addition to iAdept’s product portfolio in 2007. This unique offering provided much-needed relief to research-based projects that had long been seeking such systems without success. Here iadept offers a verity of model from several OEMS is very diverse price range.
2008
Made In India Vibration Analyzer Software
Long before the "Make in India"calls gained prominence, iAdept was the only Indian OEM creating its software war-chest to take on world gaints dominating vibration analysis and balancing equipment.
First version named Factory Manager ™ took through 2008 to develop and be tested with Vibration Data Collectors from two leading manufacturers from Europe (SKF) and Japan (IMV).
2009
Factory Manager™ Vibration Software International Sales Begin
Factory Manager ™ International Reach
Factory Manager™ licenses started getting picked up by vibration consultants and small setups. With local development and Customizations, Factory Manager™ proved to be a strong offering with affordable prices really early on. Advance features besides Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), Route Collection, ISO-10816 Alarms etc made a strong case within the India Market.
Benstone Equipments USA was the first international customer for Factory Manager™. The software was deployed for their G-Tech arm at Taiwan
Local Maintenance Hub Setup
iAdept has increasingly felt the need for local support availability for the international products that take long for repair and maintenance. iAdept has thus setup team to locally handle easily manageable issues that could save client time, effort and dollars for repair. With staff trained at client premises, we are able to not only provide calibration and servicing but also identify defective parts to order from principles/OEMs.
2010
Contribution to India’s First Indigenous Fighter Aircraft – LCA
Eye Movement Recorder for LCA Program
iAdept was proud to associate with development of India's first indigenous fighter aircrafts Light Combat Aircaft (LCA). Eye Movement Recorder sourced from the USA eas deployed to develop ergonomics within the aircraft.
LCA program has since developed multiple versions of the fighter jet.
iAdept Explores Thermal Imaging for Reliance Industries
As thermal imaging rapidly emerged as a leading technology in the field of condition monitoring, iAdept ensured it kept pace with innovation. The introduction of its thermal imaging division proved to be a success, with Reliance Industries becoming iAdept’s first client in this segment.
2011
iAdept Customizes Solution for India’s Premier Institute IIT Madras
iAdept Delivers Laser Doppler Vibrometer for IIT Madras
A rare feet when iAdept shone abilities and customized solution was to be provided to India's premier engineering institute IIT Madras. Sourcing products, parts and software from four different countries and manufacturers including USA, United Kingdom, France, Japan and making them work together analytics setup for fracture process of rocks on the sea bed using Piezoelectric Transducers, Laser Vibrometer, Amplifier and an Oscilloscope working together.
iAdept Tailors Ultrasonic Solution for CBRI
iAdept takes pride in finding solutions that will work for you. When Central Building Research Institute (CBRI) approached iAdept with its specific problems, we went out of the way and beyond our offerings to provide a solution that worked for CBRI.
With this initiative, iAdept also included ultrasonics domain within offerings portfolio with wide range of applications adopted over the years.
2012
Directorate of Revenue Intelligence Surveillance Requirement
Thermal Imaging Surveillance for DRI
iAdept’s thermal imaging surveillance division successfully addressed a specific requirement from the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) for advanced surveillance Thermal Imaging Based Binoculars. Working closely with the Delhi and Chennai units, iAdept delivered not only a top-of-the-line, tailor-sourced product but also expanded its thermal imaging portfolio to include surveillance solutions—marking a significant addition to its capabilities.
Leak Detector for Petroleum Oil Companies
Leaks represent a significant source of revenue loss—especially for oil companies handling what is often referred to as liquid gold. Esar (New name - Nayara Energy Limited ) Oils became the first customer to adopt iAdept’s pipe leak detection solution. Since then, the list of satisfied clients has grown extensively, with iAdept proudly standing among the first in India to offer relevant, technology-driven leak detection solutions.
2013
Indian Navy Completes DK-2 Deployment
Indian Navy Secures Maintenance Depots with iAdept’s DK-2
The Indian Navy secured all its Trial units handling diesel engine testing & measurement across the country with iAdept-supplied DK-2 units—a revolutionary product focused on diesel engine performance analysis. Remarkably, the DK-2 has remained virtually maintenance-free throughout its operational lifespan.
Nothing signifies user confidence more than one successful product test leading to an umbrella deployment across all locations nationwide. As technology evolved, the Navy began transitioning to the latest-generation DK-20 units starting in 2016.
Honda Cars Procures Engine Diagnostic System
iAdept’s another model of engine diagnostic instruments achieved another milestone when Honda procured advanced engine analyzer—from another OEM & different technology known for its accuracy in fault detection, performance analysis, and engine tuning.
Honda was among the first major manufacturers to recognize the value of the product, soon followed by other leading automotive brands committed to delivering high-performance engines for both domestic and international markets.
2014
iAdept wins LARGEST Vibration Data Collector Order
iAdept Secures Largest Vibration Data Collector Order in India
A long process of discussions, budgetary quotations, tenders, re-tenders, and extensive user testing preceded the decision on India’s largest-ever order for vibration data collector equipment. Competing against a formidable lineup—including global giants like Rockwell Automation, Pruftechnik, SPM, SKF Condition Monitoring, Crystal Instruments, and IRD Mechanalysis—nearly 10 of the world’s leading companies participated in the global tender.
iAdept not only outperformed these top international brands but also successfully deployed 35 high-capability Vibration Data Collectors, integrated with its proprietary Make in India VibAnalyst™ software, across all Indian Navy Trail units.
2015

Unlike popular belief, Human Body Scanners are more versatile and usable besides airpot security. iAdept is of the firm belief that the technology could greatly benefits large measurement projects especially where mass apparel Production are involved. The order landed from the goverment establishment automating personnel physical information for a large set of subjects in diverse application including military, fashion Industry and stores wide inventory.
2016
iAdept Participates in Prime Minister’s Pet Golden Quadrilateral Railway Project for Noise & Vibration Analysis
iAdept Participates in Prime Minister 's Pet Golden Quadrilateral Railway Project for Noise & Vibrations Analysis as part of ETA Projects. With the coveted project handed over to iAdept for Vibrations and Noise analysis, iAdept tied up with AV Ingeniros Spain who are leaders in railway technology to provide beyond scope analysis and predictions. Significance of growing Railway collaboration prominence could be easily judged by the fact that major economies like Italy, France & Japan are working overtime with seminars and conferences on railway and metro projects for a slice of the major infrastructure upgrade in India.

Acoustic Imager or Acoustic Phones for Sound and Leak Detection Application
Acoustic Imager cameras or phones for leaks of sound or sound generated in machine trains were added in 1918. Detecting sounds of leaks—whether of air, water, or oil or sounds caused by machine components—is critical to preventing losses and operational damage. Recognizing this need, iAdept has entered this space in collaboration with globally renowned partners, bringing cutting-edge acoustic imaging or listening solutions to its clients.
